With the inspiration to be a facilitator and the desire to guide young minds, she began her career in Tokyo, Japan as a head Montessori teacher and a Kindergarten coordinator. Her deep understanding of the responsibilities of being an educatress enthused her to follow her passion after relocating to India. With over 18 years of experience in early childhood and Primary school education, she runs her own language school in Saibaba colony named iRead which imparts a holistic, child-centered, multisensory, highly compatible program “Jolly Phonics” and a comprehensive spelling and grammar program “Jolly Grammar” which is adopted in over 100 countries around the world for children from LKG to Grade 8 to nurture the art of reading and effective language comprehension. iRead, the language school, connects to a new age of literacy through:

As an initiative of learning beyond the classroom, Bijithra Jagadesh’s Funsational summer workshops have created a sensation in the city giving new dimensions to learning. iRead is the only language school in Coimbatore focusing primarily on practicing Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar and takes the honor to be associated with The Cambridge University U.K, thereby taking a proactive role in giving children the academic advantage to compete in today’s world.

As a conscientious educator with a passion for teaching and a vision to create a difference in early childhood and Primary school learning, she has been conducting workshops for teachers and interactive sessions for students. Being a storyteller too she conducts workshops for kids in Chennai, and Bangalore to revive the lost art of reading by bringing books to life.
